My entanglement 🥵🥵

They warned me about flirting, but I didn't listen.

This is a very touching story to warn girls out there flirting with innocent guys, when you know nothing is really gonna happen 😪.

...... They were operating on a fellow doctor that day, and we were not allowed into the theater (you know why).
There I  was, putting on my Grey scrubs, sitting in the waiting room with my colleagues and playing candy crush. (until I met my crush 😌..... Don't leave me😏😌)
He was a house officer I had never spoken with and then he sat beside me.
"seems we have something in common, we're both wearing same colour of scrubs"
(and that was how I opened my mouth wahhhhhhhh)
"probably in some time, that won't be the only thing we'd have in common" I replied 😏
He drew closer and asked "what do you mean" waiting to hear the reply he was expecting
"your surname I mean" I replied
(my heart kept warning me - "egungu be careful" )
I told him how his scrubs brought out the colour of his eyes.
We chatted throughout until it was time for my break and we said our goodbyes, but it wasn't our last.
After meeting him that day, we met a couple of times after and I later got to know his name was Abdul.
Fastfoward to one time when he decided to walk me from the hospital to my hostel. On our way, he started explaining to me how what he felt for me was different and he reminded of when I said we would share the same surname. 😥
"I know the major hindrance now would be our religion, but I tell you, we can always work things out. We can always have an agreement. Everything is all about sacrifice" he explained to me so passionately

How was I supposed to explain to him that it was only an entanglement and my love for him was nonexistent 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️.
"we'll have to find a Christian name for you then" I said to him, still flirting 😅
He started again with the sacrifice thing and then I realised that joke was over and I had to clear somethings.
I did it in the most polite way possible and I  guess he understood.
I walked backed to the hostel that day realising How  my entanglement was almost untangled 🥵🥵.
