long shot too long...

You know how there's always that fine HO every medical student is talking about. The hottest HO, beard gang😏, clean, smells nice🀀, tall and probably has abs🀷‍♀️, awesome dress sense and to crown it all up he now has a lot of stuuufff!😩😩
Well, I wish that was my case. While my mates were crushing on hot HOs, I was aiming higher. A reg!.
I didn't tell anyone about it, except my close friends of course. I'd spend my ward rounds staring at him in admiration and imagine how we'd be having our own couple's ward round when we get married, I was smitten😍.
I was the group rep for my group, so I had the privilege of having the numbers of the doctors.
One night when he was on call, he asked us to come over so he could teach us something. He informed us that he'd call us beforehand. That night, I was expecting his call like I was waiting for a proposal. The moment his call came in, I was so nervous, sweating all over my body and at the same time, trying to act casual. After my friends finally calmed me down and I had finished hyperventilating, I answered the call,

"Good evening Sir," I said as casual as I could sound

"yes, good evening" he replied "I'm at the hospital, come with your group mates to A&E
And he hung up before I could respond but I resolved that he wanted to take things slow 😌.
After living every day in that unit waiting for the day we'd finally be together, I left the unit but he never left my heart. When it was almost time for our end of posting exam, he called me to give me a "private tutorial" and that was all the sign I needed πŸ₯Ί.
He still chats me up once in a while to check up on me 😏 with the whole pandemic and everything going on.
Recently, he posted "patience" on his WhatsApp status and I just concluded that he was implying that it would take patience to finally have me 😌.
Don't worry Romeo, you're Juliet awaits you πŸ₯Ί.
