Sex education!!!

Since the quarantine began I've been playing the role of a mother, wife, daughter, and sister at home.
My mum had to attend to a very important business and that left me here. At home.
A lot of things had happened and from the comments I  get at home, not to brag but, I think I'm doing a great job 😏😌...
Today, while I was in the room with my brother and my cousin, I just thought I should have a conversation with them. And that was how we strayed into sex education. I won't really call it that per se🀷‍♀️, let's just say we talked about puberty and we were a little extraπŸ˜‰.
The whole topic of sex education started when my cousin talked about truth or dare games she usually saw people play in her school. Before we could ask any questions, she was already denying ever playing the game.

"I just used to hear them play the game when I'm passing their class, they are not even my classmates and I have never joined them," she said

I simply just asked a question and she gave me details about the kind of truths told and the dares done. I concluded that she probably walked in slow motion or reverse whenever she passed the class🀷‍♀️🀷‍♀️.
We started from the definition of puberty and when I asked them to tell me some examples of signs of puberty, of course, the only sign of puberty they knew at that point was hair growth in the armpit πŸ™„πŸ™„.
We got talking and we talked about feelings, emotions, and dating. I made them understand that it was only normal to like someone of the opposite sex, it didn't make them a "bad" boy or girl or a demon that needed deliverance πŸ˜…. We talked about how acting on emotions and feelings could be dangerous at their age and some consequences of taking the wrong actions. I didn't condemn or criticize them, I just wanted them to know they could always come to me and they should always seek advice from a mature person before making some decisions.
I didn't even know how I started telling these innocent children about my experience of dating someone 10 years older than me when I was 17 πŸ˜… (a story for another day).
I finally broke the ice and they started asking some questions which I answered, but that was before my 16-year-old brother tried to deny ever liking or crushing on any girl🀨😟. Mogbe. This is the same person that could wake up from his dream to snatched his phone from anyone that imagined holding his phone. I was beginning to wonder if what he was hiding on his phone were tons of insults he sends to girls. I almost abandoned my whole talk to face that issue, but then somehow, the truth came out with more details 😏.
After the long heart-to-heart conversation, I could already feel the Christian mother puff sleeve on my shoulders 😌😌 and I could imagine all the Christian mothers clapping for me in heaven 😌😌. It felt good to be a mother πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‹. I was almost flying as they kept thanking me 😌 and that was when my cousin said...

"I pity those girls that like boys ohh"

My puff deflated. I just weak😩😩

If she made such a comment, I hope you cleared her doubt and ensure she doesn't leave with such notion in mind.
