My first π€₯π€₯
First of all, I'd like to wish everyone a happy Valentine's Day, whether you celebrate it or not. And to all the romantic people out there, keep being romantic on your romantic dayπ.
This post is not about my first kiss, naaa. It's about my first date so grab a pack of cheese balls and a cup of zobo because I'm going to be brief.
So I met this very cute guy one time, and we vibed so well. He was funny, his sense of humor wasn't in this world, he understood my sarcasm, our connection was so intense, there was never any dull moment. After so much calls and chats on Watsapp, we decided to meet up. Although I have a phobia for meeting up with people, I didn't cancel on this one.
It was on the day we planned to meet that I summoned the courage to tell my mum about it. Initially I wanted to tell her that I was to meet with some of my secondary school classmates, but after a while, I just told her I planned to meet with a guy. Surprisingly, she permitted me π± π± (mothers are really desperate for in-laws these days yunno).
When I was finally set to go, she called my sisters to ensure that they dropped me off and took the guy's number ππ ( that was so embarrassing π€§π€§). I met him at the entrance of the park. There was a very brief and awkward greeting, but then it was time to go in. That was when it occurred to him that he had no money on himππ. Two young children of Israel had to journey the City of Abuja in search of an ATM. The sun was scorching, my legs were hurting, but what can I say ππ, I was following manππ. It was like all the banks were hiding from us that day π₯. Finally we found an ATM, withdrew some money and returned to the park.
When we got to the park, there was suddenly nothing to talk about, there were no activities around or anything fun to do, so we just sat somewhere with one sister singing her worship songs while we stared at other people. He decided that we should take a walk (the spirit of my legs wept bitterly π₯π©). While we walked we found a nice spot that we could sit, and a nice couple offered us their mat π.
It was time to sit down and make myself comfortable, so I decided to take off my sneakers. That was where my problem began. I couldn't believe what I perceived came from my feetπ². To make matters worse, all the cracks on my feet looked like I walked round the whole of Niger state on bare foot. I was so embarrassed, I didn't know how to sit down. I ended up sitting like a Chinese baboon that was meditating. We got talking, and I was just thinking about how my village people were laughing.
Finally it was time to take pictures. I've never really been embarrassed about my phone's screen, but looking at it that day, I just realized that my phone looked like Thor used his hammer to smash it twice. It was terrible. Luckily for me, my phone memory was full and his battery was dead already. Thank God for the photographers moving about, we took memorable pictures.
It was already getting late and my mum had already started calling that I was even wondering if I was breastfeeding a child and I left her at home. Finally he saw me off and we said our goodbyes π. *THE END*
(so many details were left out though, I didn't want to bore anyone).
☆Happy☆ ♡Valentine's♡ ☆Day☆
