I remember when a boy called me 'ugly' in ss2. I Couldn't bilvit.
"Me that my sisters hyped for up to 15 years, one boy just felt he could open his mouth waaaaa."
After I pondered for a long time with all my efforts rendered futile,

I just concluded that it had to be a mystery plus he probably had an eye defect, cuz even if beauty hit him right in the face, he wouldn't know.
This is me telling all big sisters and big brothers, please hype your younger ones. A huge chunk of their self-esteem is up to you. I know what my sisters did for me 🥺.

They don't even have to be your siblings, learn to compliment the little ones around you.

Coming from people they look up to, your words would go a long way in molding their confidence.
These kids keep hearing terrible things about themselves, and no one tells them how good or smart or beautiful they are. It might not be an immediate transformation, but let them have something good to think about, something to counter whatever negatives they've heard about themselves
