one embarrassing day I would never forget 😩

   I know I'm definitely not one of those people that have no "most embarrassing day". I don't even have just one, I have a lot.
I remember one time when I was the MC for the orientation of the new medical students. During the program, it was time to welcome one of our lecturers, and I was to give his citation. I decided to flatter him a little. After a lot of praises, I threw a question to the crowd, asking if anyone could mention an anomaly that could ever happen in his class. It was very obvious, owing to the fact that he was the most interesting lecturer we had, plus he had a way of embarrassing anyone that ever dared to doze in his class (someone got the name "Chidozie" because of that) 😂 😂. Finally, someone from the crowd gave the obvious answer,
" It's an anomaly to sleep in his class," she said
I even supported her response with more praises just to lay more emphasis on how impossible it was to ever sleep in his class.
Some weeks after the orientation, he came to take us on hormones in biochemistry. That was one of the most boring courses I ever had to bear. We finally got to sex hormones, and just to make the class more lively, he brought up the song: "let's talk about sex baby, let's talk about you and me". While the whole class laughed in amusement, I could see myself drifting, I begged my village people to let a stay awake just this once, I didn't want to enter that record of the very few people that ever slept in his class, plus the name he would probably give me could haunt me throughout Medical school. In the process of begging, it happened. I slept.
I don't know how long it was, but it felt like a whole day and that particular time, I even drooled. All I could  remember was my seatmate tapping me and the next thing I heard was my lecturer's voice,

"next orientation, you better tell them how you slept in my class".
The whole class was laughing.
He called me to the front of the class and I just had a feeling that I was about to be baptized. He asked me to explain what I had learned from his class or he'll take a guess. And guys! He guessed right. The only thing that kept playing in my head was "let's talk about sex baby, let's talk about you and me". 🥺😢😢
